Shelly Hubbard, Vice President of Investor Relations

Shelly Hubbard, Vice President of Investor Relations, joined Vista Outdoor in March 2021. Prior to joining the company, Shelly was the Director, Global Investor Relations at Nike. She has over 20 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, strategic planning and communications with leading brands across multiple industries, including athletic and lifestyle footwear, apparel and equipment, financial services, healthcare and consumer goods, which included Oakley and Meguiar’s.

In her role, Shelly is instrumental in leading the investor relations function, developing relationships with Wall Street and effectively communicating Vista Outdoor’s investment thesis and strategic goals. In doing so, Shelly leverages her expertise in finance, accounting, strategy and communications, presenting and articulating investor views to senior management and the Board of Directors to drive proper valuation of the company. This also includes Shelly is also focused on driving ESG investor engagement to discuss Vista Outdoor’s ESG initiatives.

Shelly earned her degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and her MBA from Pepperdine University with honors. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the NIRI Senior Roundtable. In 2020, she was a member of the NIRI Think Tank on Artificial Intelligence in IR and was a panelist at the NIRI 2020 Annual Conference for the session ‘Disruptive Technology: Report of the NIRI Think Tank on Artificial Intelligence in IR’. At Nike, Shelly won several awards including the Nike All Star Award, We Are On the Offense Always Award and was a global nominee for the Nike Just Do It Award. During her tenure at Nike, the IR team was also recognized by Institutional Investor for Best IR and ESG. Shelly is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society, the University of Minnesota Alumni Association and the Pepperdine University Alumni Association.
