Mark W. DeYoung, Chairman and CEO
Mark W. DeYoung, Chairman and CEO, previously served as President and CEO of Alliant Techsystems (ATK). Mr. DeYoung joined ATK in 1985 and has 30 years of extensive experience in finance, operations, facility management, and executive leadership, including business startup and turnarounds. Mr. DeYoung developed the company’s successful strategy to grow the portfolio through successful acquisitions. He also initiated and led the effort for a successful spinoff of Vista Outdoor.
Scott D. Chaplin, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Scott D. Chaplin, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, previously served as SVP, General Counsel and Secretary from 2012-2015 for ATK, an aerospace, defense, and outdoor sports and recreation company. In this role, he had overall responsibility for the corporate legal function, including government contract oversight, regulatory compliance, ATK’s global sales team support, and oversight for product and intellectual property management. Mr. Chaplin has expertise in developing, leading and advising on compliance and governance, acquisitions and investments, ethics, contracts, and pricing and procurements for defense and aerospace companies.
Stephen M. Nolan, Senior Vice President and CFO
Stephen M. Nolan, Senior Vice President and CFO, previously served as SVP of Strategy and Business Development from 2013-2015 for ATK, an aerospace, defense, and outdoor sports and recreation company. He also served in a similar capacity for ATK’s Aerospace Group, which housed all of ATK’s space and aerospace activities. Since joining ATK in 2006, Mr. Nolan also served as VP & GM of the Advanced Systems Division, VP and Deputy GM of the Aerospace Structures Division and VP for Strategy and Business Development of the Mission Systems Group. He previously worked as Director of Corporate Strategy at Raytheon and spent five years at McKinsey & Company.
Stephen S. Clark, Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Services
Steve Clark is Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Services for Vista Outdoor Inc. Steve has overall responsibility for all human resources functions, including strategic human resource planning, compensation and benefits, human resources shared services, organizational development, talent management and corporate services including security services and facilities. Most recently, Steve served as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer for the H.J. Heinz Company.
Dave Allen, President, Outdoor Products
Dave Allen is President of Vista Outdoor Inc.’s Outdoor Products segment. He has overall responsibility for segment-level financial performance, strategic planning, innovation and new products, brand management and marketing, product line management, sourcing and supply chain management, capital expenditures and R&D investment and returns, and talent management. He previously served as the company’s SVP, Sales. Prior to joining Vista Outdoor in May 2016, Dave was President of Coleman USA for the Jarden Corporation. He also served as the SVP for Sales and Marketing in the Americas for the Coleman Company and as SVP and General Manager for the Walmart and Sam’s Customer Team for Jarden Outdoor Solutions.
Bob Keller, President, Shooting Sports
Bob Keller is President of Vista Outdoor Inc.’s Shooting Sports segment. Bob is responsible for segment-specific strategy and execution, growth and profitability. He also has overall responsibility for the company’s quality, safety, and environmental stewardship. Bob joined Vista Outdoor in 2016 after serving as President and CEO of Escalade, Inc., a publicly traded sporting goods and outdoor recreation products company. Prior to Escalade, Bob’s consumer products experience includes a series of strategic marketing and manufacturing leadership roles.
Jason Vanderbrink, Senior Vice President, Sales
Jason Vanderbrink is Senior Vice President of Sales for Vista Outdoor Inc. He is responsible for leading Vista Outdoor’s domestic, international, law enforcement and government sales across the company’s complete portfolio. Jason joined Vista Outdoor in 2005, and most recently served as the company’s Vice President, Retail Sales. Jason has more than 17 years of experience in the outdoor industry.
Amanda K. Covington, Senior Vice President, Communications & Government Relations
Amanda Covington is Senior Vice President of Communications and Government Relations for Vista Outdoor Inc. Amanda leads corporate communications and government relations strategies impacting financial communications, crisis communications, domestic and international media/public relations, corporate branding and advertising, digital media, employee relations, public policy and legislation, industry associations, and community relations. Previously, Amanda served as the Vice President, Corporate Communications for ATK, an aerospace, defense, and commercial products company.
Thomas G. Sexton, Vice President, Controller
Tom Sexton is Vice President and Controller for Vista Outdoor Inc. Tom is responsible for FP&A, tax and accounting. He previously served as Vice President, Controller and Treasurer for Vista Outdoor. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Controller for ATK Sporting Group. From 2007-2013, he held various leadership roles at the ATK corporate level, including Treasurer, interim Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Controller.
Jennifer Anderson, Vice President, Treasurer
Jennifer Anderson is Vice President and Treasurer for Vista Outdoor Inc. She is responsible for all aspects of treasury operations, including financings, cash and investment management, risk management, real estate and equipment leases, and derivatives. Jennifer joined Vista Outdoor in 2001, and previously served as the company’s Vice President and Assistant Treasurer.
