The United Service Organizations (USO) recently reached out to Remington for program support for the National Guard Professional Education Center (NGPEC) on Camp Robinson in Little Rock, AR.

On Thursday, November 4, USO and Remington teamed up to provide a BBQ lunch to the students and faculty of NGPEC, allowing service members to come together and connect over a warm meal.

“I truly enjoy serving others in the community,” said Valerie Lacey, Operations Administrative Assistant at Remington. “This was an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ for their service.”

Ryan Jenkins, Centerfire Supervisor, was also present to help with the event. men and women dishing up lunch

“I’ve never had the opportunity to experience something like this,” he said. “Coming from a family with a military background, I have tried to give back and help as much I can. With that, I ask God to continue to bless our troops in the military, Remington and the USO. We would be more than happy to do this again.”

The Remington/USO team served lunch to approximately 200 National Guard Service members and training staff.
