Donations for Florida Condo Disaster Workers

Knee pads and hydration packs provided needed relief during the search, rescue and recovery and cleanup efforts on-site at the collapsed Florida condo building.

A Bereli employee living six blocks from the collapsed building witnessed the grueling work of first responders and volunteers crawling through dust and rubble in the Florida heat. He saw the need and knew what to do … he started calling his Bereli business contacts. Bereli sells hunting gear, tactical and military gear, including products from Vista’s law enforcement (LE) and hunt/shoot brands. Dave Leis, VP, LE, Government and International Sales, received one of those phone calls from his Bereli contact in Florida. “It was never a question of if – but of how soon – we could respond to get those men and women the supplies they needed,” said Dave. “I’d also like to recognize and thank the employees who worked behind the scenes to get those products to those workers in short order.”

In turn, Blackhawk and CamelBak quickly responded packing up and shipping off much-needed knee and elbow pads and hydration packs, respectively.
