Where There’s Smoke …

There are firefighters, Camp Chef pellet smokers, CCI/Speer employees and supporters and smiles.

Summer brings on dry conditions in the Lewis Clark Valley area in Idaho – putting local firefighters on high alert and ready to respond during fire season. The team at CCI/Speer in Lewiston, Idaho jumped in to offer their appreciation and admiration to the Lewis Clark Valley area fire departments with a donation of five Camp Chef pellet smoker/stoves. One of CCI/Speer’s employees, Nick Azevedo, a copper plater in Lewiston, also serves with the fire department. Mike Overberg, Sr. Manager of Operations and Bill Mackleit, Sr. Director of Operations for Lewiston and Lonoke, AR facilities dropped off the stoves for firefighter crews to enjoy when they aren’t actively putting out wildfires.
