Federal Ammunition put together a care package for one of their employees who is currently deployed in the Middle East. Here’s the story.
Devin Kral is taking a year off from his duties at Federal in Anoka, Minnesota, to serve his country as a member of the Alpha Company 2-147th Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB) Minnesota National Guard.
Devin’s boss, Adam Schorer, Supervisor, Factory Operations rallied coworkers to put together a care package for Devin, a reminder of their gratitude for his service and that he is not forgotten. In the care package was a Federal t-shirt signed by his coworkers, snacks and 50 insulated CamelBak hydration bottles to share.
Devin received the Federal package and sent Adam this note:
Thank you so much for the package. I will be flying a Flag on a mission or two and I’ll be sending it your way. If you want to check out the Facebook post for a few more pictures feel free to do so. Also since our unit is scattered over 4 countries in the middle east I’ll be sending some of these out to other locations as well and will ask to get more photos. I may even send the flag for a tour to the other locations so it has a story to tell before sending it back to you.
Thanks again on behalf of. A Co and C co 2-147th AHB and A Co 1-189 GSAB”
Adam shared the CamelBak bottles not only with his Minnesota Guardsmen of the Delta Company 2-147th Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB); but also gave bottles to Guardsmen of the 1-189th Montana GSAB Army National Guard.
CamelBak also received a shout out from the 1-189th GSAB on Facebook: “Thanks to the CamelBak company for their donation of water bottles. Your contributions to the unit allow Soldiers to hydrate in style! On behalf of the 1-189th GSAB and 2-147th AHB, we wanted to show appreciation by sending a flag.”
