Vista Outdoor Engineer Named Pioneering Woman

In October, The Lewiston Tribune published a special section in their newspaper titled Pioneering Women. The piece took a close look at more women from north central Idaho and southeastern Washington state who have made or are continuing to make their mark. CCI Speer Senior Quality Engineer Marilyn Stein is one of 39 women featured in the edition.

The Lewiston Tribune has given Vista Outdoor permission to share Marilyn’s article. Here is an excerpt from her profile. “For more than two decades Stein has been on the front lines of a company effort to ensure excellence in the product and safety at the company, in Lewiston and for its customers. She helped Vista Outdoor win International Organization for Standardization certification in 1996 and has maintained it consistently since. “A single failure can destroy an aircraft,” Marilyn said. “We have to get it right every time.” Read her profile
