Vista Outdoor Brands and Partners Exchange Awards at SHOT Show 2018

It was another successful showing for Vista Outdoor brands at this year’s Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show 2018. Our hunting and shooting brands, along with Camp Chef and CamelBak, put on quite a display of their best new guns and gear for industry pros.

SHOT Show also provides an opportunity for Vista Outdoor partners to recognize Vista Outdoor and its brands for their continued support and sponsorship of shooting sports education.

National 4-H Shooting Sports Program

RCBS, Federal Premium, Savage Arms and Champion Targets support this organization because of their proven track record of helping to develop young people into responsible adults through the discipline of precision shooting. Federal Premium has been a supporter of the 4-H Shooting Sports Program for decades dating back to the founding of the organization.

RCBS presented a $9,600 check to National 4-H Shooting Sports for 2017 royalties on several of their reloading presses.

National 4-H Shooting Sports presented Champion Targets, Federal Premium, Savage Arms and RCBS with their own plaque for their support in 2017.

NRA Whittington Center

Vista Outdoor has been a longtime supporter of the National Rifle Association (NRA) Whittington Center, one of the nation’s premier hunting, shooting and outdoor recreation facilities. In 2018, Vista Outdoor will be sending two youth to their High Adventure Camp. One participant is from Lewistown, ID (16-year old male) and the other from Anoka, MN (16-year old female).

During SHOT Show, Whittington Center presented plaques to Savage Arms, Federal Premium and CamelBak for their support of their 2017 High Adventure Camps.

Boy Scouts of America

In 2017 several Vista Outdoor brands began a partnership with the Boy Scouts of America and their flagship Summit Bechtel Reserve facility host to the National Boy Scout Jamboree: CamelBak is the official hydration partner; Bell Helmets is the official wheeled sports safety partner; Federal Premium, Savage, CCI and Gold Tip teamed up as the official shooting sports and archery partners. Representatives from the Boys Scouts presented Vista Outdoor with an awards plaque and print at their annual shooting sports luncheon during SHOT Show.
