Savage Arms Continues 30-Year Tradition November 14, 2017 Lori Messner Over 30 years ago, Savage Arms joined the ranks of other leaders in the Pioneer Valley – which comprises the three counties of Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin, Massachusetts – in support of the United Way. These community leaders and employees cared about where they lived and helped to change the landscape of poverty in these areas. Savage Arms continues this legacy of community support by their employees’ generous gift of $10,000. “This gift was an unexpected and especially appreciated,” said Yvonne L. Williams, Director of Resource Development at United Way of Pioneer Valley. She continued, “We and all those we serve express a special ‘Thank You’ to Savage Arms and their employees for this caring and generous gift.” L to R: Cathy Thomas, HR Generalist, Savage Arms; James Ayres, President & CEO, United Way of Pioneer Valley; and Al Kasper, President/COO Savage Arms.
