Federal Premium Ammunition’s Grateful Nation is a unique and compelling outdoor adventure series that goes behind the scenes and into the hunting fields with American disabled veterans. This original unscripted program takes viewers inside the minds of wounded combat veterans and returns them to their traditional American hunting heritage. The majority of narrative for each episode comes from the organic conversation between the featured Vet and host in the context of the hunt.
In the ninth season of the series, the episodes span from California to Montana, to South Africa and capture amazing stories of courage, bravery, and highlight the healing found in returning to their hunting roots. This week’s premiere episode features two soldiers coping with ALS and hunting bison in the central California countryside. For these two brave veterans, enjoying their days in the field is the real trophy. Prime airing for the series is Sunday at 5 p.m. ET. Additional airing times and dates are all ET: Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.; Thursday at 1 p.m.; Friday at 5:30 a.m.
A fan of the show watched Tuesday’s episode and sent an email to Tim Abell, the host of Grateful Nation, “Tim, saw your show on the ALS folks buffalo hunt. Put tears 😭 in my eyes. God bless for your continued GN efforts. All the best, Jim.”
