11 Employees Receive IDEAS Program Recognition

In October, 2016, we introduced the IDEAS portal that allows innovators to submit new product ideas or enhancements and improvements to any of our current brand products. To date, we have received 2758 product ideas from all sources (internal and external) and over 1625 ideas have been assigned for review.  Congratulations to our employees and keep the ideas coming at http://ideas.vistaoutdoor.com.

Six employees received $150 Vista Outdoor Achievement Awards as recognition for advancing to the next phase of reviews:

Jeff Lincoln from Shooting Sports, submitted an idea for a modification to 17HMR loads.

Randy Forstie from Shooting Sports, submitted an idea for new Force and Force training munition.

Bryant Patterson from Shooting Sports, submitted an idea for a new rimfire round.

Andy Gabatino from Shooting Sports – Ammunition, submitted a new product idea for shotgun shells.

Matt Boeser from Shooting Sports – Ammunition, submitted two product improvements for shooting accessories.

JJ Reich from Corporate Communications submitted a different idea to re-invent packaging for turkey ammunition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Six employees received $100 Vista Outdoor Achievement Awards as recognition for their participation in the program:

Matt Schroeder from Shooting Sports, had an idea for firearms.

Leslie Weber, not pictured, from Shooting Sports, had an idea for ammunition.

Suzanne Hardy from Outdoor Products had an idea for hydration.

Ricardo Velarde, right, from Vista Outdoor brand CamelBak, had an idea to expand hydration into a new category.

Josh Wolfe, not pictured, from our Outdoor Products business segment, submitted a new product idea for apparel.

JJ Reich submitted a packaging improvement for sub-sonic metro loads.
