Great Success for Bollé at Giro d’Italia

The Bollé-sponsored team Orica GreenEdge had outstanding results in the first week of Giro d’Italia, the first Grand Tour of the season in the UCI World Tour. The “Maglia Rosa” pink leader jersey changed hands four days in a row.

The Australian squad won the first stage at Sanremo, a team time trial, securing the General Classification leadership to Simon Gerrans, previous winner of cycling “monuments” like Milan-Sanremo and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. On stage three, the pink leader jersey passed to team captain Michael Matthews, who secured another stage victory for Orica in sprint. Simon Clarke also had the honor of wearing pink as he gained a few seconds in a breakaway.

Overall, it couldn’t have been a better start for Bollé, exclusive official eyewear of Giro d’Italia! Riders are wearing Bollé 6th Sense Giro d’Italia special-edition glasses.

Giro d’Italia continues through May 31, 2015. Get more information at: http://www.greenedgecycling.com/
